HOUSEKEEPER JOB POSTING

Part-Time

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Ø Minimum O.S.S.D. or equivalent

Ø Previous experience in Professional Cleaning and/or Housekeeping required

Ø Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred

Ø Ability to interact with seniors

Ø Must be capable of using Housekeeping Equipment, i.e., pushing carts, using vacuum cleaners, carpet shampoo machines and buffing machines, lifting buckets and mopes, washers, dryers

Ø Must be professional and friendly when dealing with residents, staff, volunteers and family members

Ø Ability to learn tasks within a short period of time (Will receive on the job training)

Ø Must be able to read, write understand and speak English

Ø Initiative and judgment required to maintain workflow

Ø Must be available to work 7:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00, 17:00-23:00 shifts

Ø Must be available to work every other weekend
